About the Role
We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join the DwellSafe team and help build core parts of a real, production healthcare platform. This role is ideal for someone who loves shipping product, working across the stack, and taking increasing ownership as they grow.
You’ll work closely with product, design, and senior engineering teammates to build secure, scalable, and user-friendly features that directly impact how people live safely at home. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility, real users, and room to grow technically and architecturally.
Location: Remote-friendly. We’re open to distributed candidates and care more about overlap, communication, and ownership than where you’re based.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain full-stack features across our web application
- Develop frontend experiences using React and TypeScript
- Implement backend functionality using AWS serverless technologies (Amplify, AppSync, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3)
- Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into thoughtful, maintainable implementations
- Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
- Help improve performance, reliability, and overall product quality over time
- Participate in production support and iterative improvements
- Gradually take on deeper ownership of features and systems as the platform evolves
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience building and shipping production web applications
- Comfort working across both frontend and backend code
- Solid experience with:
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- React and modern frontend patterns
- API-driven architectures (REST and/or GraphQL)
- Familiarity with cloud-based development (AWS or similar platforms)
- Experience working on real products with real users
- Thoughtful communication and a collaborative mindset

Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS services such as Amplify, AppSync, Lambda, or DynamoDB
- Exposure to GraphQL schemas, queries, and authorization patterns
- Interest in security, privacy, and building reliable systems
- Experience working in regulated or data-sensitive environments
- Desire to grow into larger technical ownership over time
