We are seeking passionate and experienced Home Safety Specialists with a background in Occupational Therapy to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will play a critical role in conducting home safety assessments, analyzing data, and providing actionable recommendations to improve home safety for older adults using DwellSafe's advanced assessment platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive virtual and in-person home safety assessments for older adults using DwellSafe’s proprietary assessment platform.
• Utilize the assessment platform to evaluate fall risks and identify potential safety hazards.
• Analyze data to recommend practical solutions to mitigate identified risks.
• Provide empathetic and personalized advice to clients, ensuring recommendations are tailored to their specific needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, caregivers, and families to implement safety measures.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in home safety and occupational therapy.
• Document assessments and recommendations accurately and maintain client confidentiality.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in occupational therapy, with a focus on home health or geriatric care.
• Strong understanding of home safety principles and fall prevention strategies.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact empathetically with older adults and their families.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for virtual assessments.
• Strong written communication skills for accurate documentation and client interactions.
